Bilingual Briton c has beaten off stiff competition to land a role in a new Chinese sitcom, Ciao Britain.
Having studied Mandarin at Sheffield University, 24-year-old, ended up working as a translator even though he always harboured hopes to one day become an actor.
But when the call came for an English actor to play a struggling graduate in a Chinese sitcom Mr Heathcote jumped at the opportunity.
